1) How are you going to compete to your competitors?

My competitors aren't directly doing the same magazine as me so I will beat them in terms of attracting a romance based fanbase as my competitors show a wide range of film genres. I will also be taking inspiration from them such as chats with directors and actors as I know that has worked well for them and hopefully will work well for me.

2) why have you decided to have a genre based magazine?

I have decided to do a genre based magazine as I feel there is a gap in the market for this type of magazine as romance is one of the biggest film genres in the world and have a lot of loyal fans. 

3) whats your USP?

My unique selling point will be the including of fan fiction and reviews in my magazine. I will have a QR code where readers can attach their fan fiction and reviews so i can put them in next months issue of my magazine.

4) How will you attract both your primary and sceondary target audience?

I will attract my primary target audience by making all my content easy to read and not overwhelming for a younger audience. I will also include new and old film which my primary and secondary audience will be able to relate to. I will attract my secondary target audience by including old romance films where they can reminise and new ones so they can find and easy watch and stay updated.

5) How will you combat a downfall in sales during exam time for your primary target audience?

Only my primary audience will be doing exams so my secondary audience will still be purchasing my magazine but also in the exam season there will be times where students will need to rest and relax and do things they enjoy so as a result I still feel as though they will continue buying my magazine especially if they ahve bought yearly subscription.

6) How will you distrubute kiss and tell?

I will distribute my magazine in places my primary target audience will socialise such as libraies,youth clubs, independent north london cinemas and film festivals. By distributing through film festivals i will gain loyal fans, also through north london cinemas I will be able to gain a wider target audience in north london.

7) How will you promote kiss and tell?

I will promote my magazine on bus stops as my primary target audience are frequent users of public transport. I will also promote it on social media such as tik tok and instagram as my target audience are always on their phones. I will aslo promote it on local north london radio station to gain a wider audience in north london.
