Task 5 (D1:U21) Evaluate Response
How will I use this feedback to my advantage?
Overall I will use all feedback adequetly where I think it is most needed in order to improve my magazine to be the best it can possibly be. I will adapt and change all points of feedback given whether it be a major or a minor change. The feedback is crucial in order for my magazine to accurately show what I'm hoping to promote. However, some feedback given I feel I do not need to use as it will not improve my magazine.
Feedback from client:
- Target audience is clever
- Is radio best way to appeal to target audience
- Really good inclusivity
- Really good price
- Make advice and tip based on romance
- Make sure streaming service links to title and its seen on my double paged spread
- whole article on bus stop
Really good price and subscription - The client felt that my price of £4 per issue was perfect for my target audience as its not too expensive but also enough for a high quality magazine which I'm hoping to make. £4 for 40 pages each month is around 10 pence per pay that you read which is great value for money. He also said that the subscription is great as people will be getting value for their money and getting an extra magazine will really entice the readers as they are getting an extra. As a result I will be keeping the price of my subscription.
Make sure streaming service link to romance genre - The client felt as though the streaming service didn't link to my romance genre and so it didn't feel relevant to the magazine. My streaming service right now is called LOZ studios and now as a result of the feedback I am going to change it to love studios as the word love perfectly links back to my genre. He also liked the other streaming service I included which is Max as this is recently been regenerated and he felt I will be able to re-expose this streaming platform well. As a result of the feedback I have decided to change the name of my streaming service but keep the well known one to make sure everything links to my theme.
Include a whole article on a bus stop poster - The client felt that in order to interest and engage people at bus stops I would need to include a whole article on the poster. This way the readers could have a snapshot into what my magazine is like to see if they would be interested in buying and reading my magazine again. This I thought was a good idea however I don't want to include just an article as this wont have enough context for the reader about what my magazine is about I think instead I will include a short article as well as pictures, social media references as well as other things. As a result I feel as though I will partly take on board the feedback given as I will include an article alongside other pieces of information to make sure I advertise my magazine in the best way to attract my readers
